Aden, Newsyemen:

The Prosecution of the Third Military Region summoned the adviser to the Minister of Information, Fahd Talib Al-Sharafi, to appear before it in Marib, eastern Yemen, in a move that reflected the Brotherhood’s use of the judiciary to suppress their opponents in the manner of the Houthi militia.

According to an official document, the prosecution loyal to General Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar was assigned to Fahd Al-Sharafi to attend the appointed time and place.

The attendance commission did not clarify the nature of the accusation against Al-Sharafi, but it comes against the background of his critical views of the Islah party, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, as well as for the team, Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar, the vice president.

And the prosecution warned of taking what it called "legal measures" if Al-Sharafi failed to appear on the specified date.

Commenting on the move, the adviser to the Minister of Information, Fahd Talib Al-Sharafi, said on his Twitter account: “In the same way, the Houthis are practicing their ugly role in Ma’rib. I have received this document which indicates that the judiciary is absent in Marib.”

Al-Sharafi explained: "The Military Prosecution has nothing to do with civil cases, if any, and I have responded to them that their procedures are not legitimate and that they are the same Houthi trials and I have the honor to be wanted by Houthi and the Brothers."
