The Emirates Red Crescent distributes food aid to 500 families in Beit Al Faqih District

For the tenth day in a row, the Emirati Red Crescent continued distributing food aid in the western coast to today 500 families of Al-Jah, Al-Marazeeq villages, Al-Saffaria village, Al-Shawathel and Al-Qabasiya village in Beit Al-Faqi district in Hodeidah governorate.

These villages are located on the seam line, which is subject to repeated daily shelling by the Houthi terrorist militia.

The aid included 3,500 people living in poverty and the urgent need for food after the coup militia destroyed their sources of income from their farms that they had planted, and from fishing beaches that had become booby-trapped with floating mines.

This support is a continuation of the humanitarian campaign carried out by the Emirates Red Crescent to relief citizens in rural and remote areas of the liberated district.

The Emirati Red Crescent had previously led a humanitarian and relief aid convoy for the camps for the displaced in Al-Wa’ara, Al-Alili, Al-Jubeir and Al-Ahwash in Al-Khokha district, and the camp for the displaced in the village of Ghalifa and Al-Durahimi estimated at 120 tons of food aid.
