Houthi militia has stepped up its military actions in Hodeidah Governorate in an unprecedented way that included the recruitment of dozens of fighters and the creation of new camps, according to private sources who spoke to "Newsyemen“
In the Al-Marwaa District (east of Al-Hodeidah), Iran's arm imposed a security cordon, stressing large areas east of Al-Qateea city, and referred it to an official training camp for hundreds of newly recruited fighters coming from Sana'a, Sa’dah, Imran, Hajjah, Raymah and Mahwit.
According to the information, the area in which the Houthi militia developed its camps is called “Hajah Al-Kahlani,” which is a heavily fortified site covered by trees and surrounded by mountains from all directions, and it was a natural outlet for the residents of Al-Qatamila and Al-Falafla in the Directorate of Al-Marawaa.
It completely closed the outlets leading to the camp area, including the roads of the village of Deir Khalil and the village of Aqaba, and set up security points and camps in separate places in its vicinity, and it ditched the area and set up a water project and connected it to the sites of individual gatherings.
The arm of Iran also prevented citizens and sheep herders from approaching the area, women from logging, and construction workers working to cut stones in the mountains overlooking, and threatened those close to imprisonment and kidnapping.
Citizens told Newsyemen that they could hear the sound of bullets, the Kalashnikov, clearly from the closed area, which is not far away, and turned into a military theater to hold combat military courses for the terrorist elements.
In the city of Hodeidah, Houthi militias have started building security shifts in the vicinity of the residential area adjacent to the city of Al-Eisi, a few kilometers from the port of Hodeidah, the vital artery for the majority of the Yemeni population.
Sources told "Newsyemen", that Houthi groups installed a propaganda board east of the Levant line indicating that the area had been converted into a military headquarters for the so-called security forces of the militia security apparatus.
The Houthi militia is trying to delude the residents to transform the area into a camp for the rescue forces, which are originally located in a special camp on Jizan Street.
According to the sources, Iran's arm recruits the fighters in the camp under the umbrella of the traffic police and pushes them to the front lines of the fighting.
In the context of recruiting fighters, Iran's arm pushed more than 50 armed elements from its positions in the Al-Jarrahi Directorate towards the front lines of Hays district in an attempt to achieve field progress.
According to "Newsyemen" sources, the Houthi fighters reached the Udain Triangle, and they were equipped with heavy and medium weapons and spread from the villages of the people of Bani Zuhair in an attempt to infiltrate the joint forces positions.
Despite the surprise attack under the heavy fire cover, the high vigilance of the joint forces gave it a field advantage after repelling the attacking Houthi elements and forcing them to retreat among the dead and wounded in their ranks, according to the sources.
