Taiz, Newsyemen:

The officers and members of the 35th Armored Brigade expressed their rejection of the theatrical surrender of the leadership of the brigade, under personal supervision, from the governor of Taiz Governorate, Nabil Shamsan, today, Saturday, in the Ma’afer District, south of the governorate.

Officers and members of the 35th Armored Brigade, in a press statement, said that Governor Nabil Shamsan imposed house arrest on the General Abdulmalik al-Ahdal, last night, in the home of Colonel Amin al-Akhali in the city of Al-Turbah.

According to the statement, Governor Nabil Shamsan ordered the transfer of Colonel Abdulmalik Al-Ahdal, accompanied by dozens of crews, today, Saturday, from Al-Akhali's house to the headquarters of the Special Security Forces Command in Khiyami camp, and forced him to hand over the leadership of the 35th Armored Brigade to the new commander, Brigadier General Abdulrahman Shamsani.

Officers and members of the 35th Armored Brigade called for Governor Nabil Shamsan to implement his decisions, the decisions of the Minister of Defense, the Chief of the General Staff and the directives of the President of the Republic to lift the Brotherhood's militia from the theater of operations of the 35th Armored Brigade in Al-Hujariyah.

The surrender play coincided with armed marches of the Muslim Brotherhood of the Hashd militia, which attempted to reach the Al Ain region, the center of Al-Mawasit Directorate, with the aim of controlling the headquarters of the 35 armored brigade.
