The interim transitional president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi issued presidential and republican decisions at dawn today as part of the mechanism to accelerate the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, which was submitted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and approved by the Sharia government and the Southern Transitional Council.

According to the decisions published by the official Yemeni News Agency (Saba) in its version of legitimacy, today, Presidential Decree No. (35) for the year 2020 was issued, the first article mandated Dr. Maeen Abdulmalik Saeed to form the new government, while the second article of the decision stipulated that the current government continues to conduct business until the formation of the new government.

Also today, Presidential Decree No. (36) of 2020 was issued, appointing Ahmed Salem Rabie Ali as a member of the Shura Council.

In a related development, Republican Decision No. (5) of 2020 was issued today, appointing Ahmed Hamid Lemlis as governor of Aden Governorate. 

While Republican Decision No. (6) of 2020, issued today also appointed Brigadier / Ahmed Mohamed Al Hamedi as Director General of the Aden Governorate Police and promoted him To the rank of major general.

The Yemeni government, earlier, welcomed the statement issued by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at dawn today, regarding the proposed mechanism to accelerate the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement.

The government spokesman, Rajeh Badi, affirmed in a statement published by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the government is keen on the full implementation of the agreement, appreciating the efforts of the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, their support and support to implement the agreement that aims to establish security and stability, maintain the security, stability and unity of Yemen and push the wheel Development.

Rajih Badi also welcomed the announcement of the Transitional Council to abandon the decision of self-management and its consequences and commitment to implement the Riyadh Agreement, expressing his hope that this would be a serious and real beginning to move forward and quickly in implementing the terms of the agreement in accordance with the specified time periods for the necessary and urgent national interest.
