Hays, Newsyemen, Exclusive:

The Houthi militia took punitive steps against the residents of Dhami villages in the district of Hays, and restricted their movements, in a step aimed at restricting them and pushing them to flee their villages.

A local source told Newsyemen that the Houthi militia prevented the people of those villages from shopping in the Al-Jarrahi district, as part of the restriction methods aimed at forcing them to flee from their areas so that the militias could take sites to target the joint forces.

The source said that the Al-Jarrahi district is the closest market to the Hays district, from where the people get their supply and food needs.

It explained that the militias' deprivation of the people of shopping in Jarrahi may push them to resort to distant markets, which will cost them more money as transportation fees in light of the difficult financial conditions of citizens.
