The Brotherhood's militia and the forces supporting them resumed their bombardment, this evening, Tuesday, at the sites of the 35th Armored Brigade in Al-Maafer District, south of Taiz Governorate, central Yemen.
A military source told (Newsyemen), that the Brotherhood militia and the forces of the 17th Infantry Brigade returned, this evening, to bombing the sites of the 35th Armored Brigade in Jabal Al-Masharah overlooking the Al-Kadha area in the Al-Maafer district.
According to the source, the Al-Masharah site is subjected to heavy bombardment with mortar shells and 14.5 and 12.7 machine guns from the 17th Infantry Brigade and Brotherhood militia positions stationed in Al-Birin market and the mountains overlooking the market.
Reinforcements from the Brotherhood militia, the Military Police and the 17th Infantry Brigade arrived at Al-Birin Market, as part of their readiness to attack the sites of the 35th Armored Brigade in Al-Birin and Al-Kadha.
The bombing of the Al-Masharah site comes hours after the attempt to assassinate Major / Raed Al-Hajj, one of the officers of the 35th Armored Brigade, with the fire of the Brotherhood militia, in the Birin market.
