Marib, Newsyemen:

The Houthi militia managed, after 72-hour battles with the Qaiyfa tribesmen, to take control of several areas northwest of Al-Bayda, and cut off the road linking with the Marib Governorate.

Field sources said that the Houthi gunmen launched, for the third day in a row, successive attacks on the tribal areas in Aqbat Zaaj and Al-Areen "Qaifa" in the Quraisia district.

The Houthis confirmed the control of important sites, especially Aqabat Za'aj, and cut off the Zaaj - Dhi Kalib road to prevent any military supplies from arriving from Marib Governorate.

The sources added that the coalition warplanes are trying to prevent the Houthi militia from advancing, as it launched violent raids that targeted Houthi vehicles and gatherings in the areas of Sabla Khiran, Al Hajeb and Bilad Al-Dahra in Quraishia.

They pointed out the continuing militia mobilizations towards the areas of intense confrontations on the outskirts of the district.

The sources quoted eyewitnesses as saying that an armed campaign coming from the side of Rada'a reached the country of Al-Jawf in Qaiyfa , explaining that the Houthi militia aims, behind the mobilization of these groups, to open an advanced front in Yakla after the victories it achieved on the ground, in preparation for entering the Rahba district in the Ma'rib governorate.

On the other hand, the Houthi militia continues to bomb villages and populated areas in the vicinity of the confrontations in the Quraishia district

Local sources said that shelling by Katyusha rockets and heavy weapons was launched by the militia from its locations in "Sablat Al-Jaram" on the village of Dhi Kalib Al-Asfal (Al Abu Sarima) and other neighboring villages.

It added that militia snipers are also sniping everyone who moves among the citizens and preventing them from carrying out their daily activities even in areas far from the clashes, stressing that civilian casualties were lost.
