Aden, Newsyemen:

Reuters reported that the interim President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi will leave on Wednesday, the Saudi capital, Riyadh, for the United States to undergomedical treatment for heart disease.

The agency quoted two informed sources on Tuesday evening as saying, "President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi will leave Saudi Arabia for the United States to undergo medical treatment on Wednesday."

Hadi, who has been living in Riyadh since the Iranian-backed Houthi militia took control of the Yemeni capital, Sanaa, in 2015, has been undergoing treatment for a heart condition since 2011.

The two sources said that he "is expected to return within a week."

Hadi traveled several times for medical examinations and treatment in the United States, the last time in June 2019.

The start of Hadi's medical trip coincides with Saudi Arabia summoning representatives of the legitimacy and the Southern Transitional Council to return to Riyadh to launch consultations to form a 50/50 government between the two sides, in accordance with the Riyadh Agreement signed between them.
