Aden, Newsyemen:

The committee charged with examining the container samples located in the Aden Free Zone issued, on Tuesday, the final report for examining the containers in the Caltex port.

The report stated that the containers contain "urea fertilizer" and are not loaded with the explosive ammonium.

A report issued by the committee in charge of the Attorney General's office stated that the samples that were examined in the port of Aden, "Caltex Free Zone campus," are urea fertilizer and cannot explode, and laboratory tests have proven that there are no dangerous substances in the port.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Gulf of Aden Ports Corporation, Dr. Muhammad Amzarbeh, confirmed the existence of containers containing organic urea that is used as agricultural fertilizers, according to official documents from the shipping line and technical approvals from the Ministry of Agriculture and other concerned authorities.

He pointed out that the port is moving at a high rate despite the difficult conditions that the country and the whole world are going through due to the Corona pandemic, as it has achieved great achievements despite Yemen losing $ 280 million during the past two years for insurance companies to be able to enter Yemeni ports.

The Yemeni Public Prosecutor had formed, in the past two days, a fact-finding committee, regarding allegations of 140 containers loaded with dangerous ammonium nitrate in the yards of the port of Aden, which had been detained for 3 years.
