A soldier was killed and eight others were wounded, including civilians, as a result of the explosion of an explosive device with a kit belonging to Sheikh Arif Jamal, the agent of Taiz governorate, today, Wednesday, in the city of Taiz, central Yemen.
A security source told (Newsyemen), that an explosive device exploded with the agent's kit, Arif Jamal, who was led by Major Hatem Rajeh, this afternoon, Wednesday, near the headquarters of the General People's Congress in Al-Ajinat Street, in the center of Taiz.
According to the source, a soldier was killed and eight others were wounded, including three civilians.
All of the injured were seriously injured, and they were taken to hospital for treatment.
The blast incident coincided with the spread of the military security campaign in charge of arresting wanted security officers, the first of whom belonged to the army and security forces involved in committing many crimes in the city of Taiz.
