The city of Taiz has been in an unprecedented state of security chaos since the Islah party, the local branch of the Brotherhood, took control of it.
The city is constantly witnessing armed battles between Brotherhood corruption associates with tools and small personalities, often due to disputes over levies, collecting and looting taxes for the brotherhood's leaders.
Ghazwan al-Makhlafi, representing military leader Sadiq Sarhan, is the most prominent troublemaker in Taiz, and he relies on him to collect illegal royalties from the city's markets.
Other wanted security personnel represent Brotherhood leaders at a time, including Ghadfar al-Sharabi, who was involved in bloody armed confrontations with Ghazwan al-Makhlafi a few days ago, as well as previous confrontations.
