Dhamar, Newsyemen:

Two Houthi gunmen were killed in clashes with worshipers at a mosque in Dhamar Governorate, after Friday prayers.

Local residents reported that, on Friday noon, Houthi gunmen stormed Hessn Qadid Mosque in the Mayfa'a Aanas district, east of Dhamar, and fired live bullets at random worshipers, which led to the outbreak of clashes in which Houthis and one of the residents were injured.

According to local sources, gunmen from the militia came on board two vehicles and surrounded the mosque after Friday prayers inside it and fired from its windows at the worshipers after they clashed with them with light weapons.

The Houthis did this because of the worshipers ’refusal to perform the cry after the loyalist preacher finished the sermon.

They also kidnapped two village headmen and took them to an unknown destination in the city of Dhamar.
