The terrorist Houthi militia suffered heavy losses in Al-Dhalea Governorate, after it tried to carry out two combat attacks on the southern forces' positions, taking advantage of the rainy atmosphere.

A military source said that violent clashes continued until dawn on Monday, and extended from the north of Hajar sectors - Bab El Gala and Sobira - Al Jubb to Battar and Habeel Yahya and Al Thokhub in the northeast of Al-Hasha district, using heavy and medium weapons.

The militia also attacked Tabab Othman and its adjacent sites in the Al-Fakhir sector, west of Qataba district.

According to the source, the Houthi militia brought in, during the past two days, large reinforcements from the areas of the governorates of Ibb and Dhamar, and reinforced their former forces in the Al-Fakher sector in an attempt to regain sites they had previously lost.

In addition to dozens of their deceived elements, the militias used BMB vehicles and heavy and medium weapons in order to open a gap in the lines of the southern forces that dealt the militias with painful blows.

According to the source, the southern forces placed the Houthi elements in the midst of firing pliers and reached the use of grenades, light weapons and RBG launchers, forcing them to retreat amid heavy losses of lives and equipment.
