On Thursday, the Houthi militia managed to storm one of the most important strongholds of the popular resistance in Qaiyfa in the Quraiyshia district in Al-Bayda governorate, central Yemen.

A field source told "Newsyemen", that dozens of Houthi elements launched a large-scale attack from several fronts on the village of Al-Zoub in Qaiyfa, in which tanks and armored vehicles participated.

It added that violent confrontations broke out between the Houthi groups and the people of Al-Zoub, as a result of which the militia managed to storm the village after the killing of 3 of its members so far, expecting the outbreak of violent night confrontations.

It explained that this Houthi attack comes after two weeks of mobilizing to the vicinity of the village and blocking it by preventing entry, in conjunction with the military operation carried out by the Houthis on the outskirts of the Qaiyfa tribe, adjacent to Murad Marib.

The source pointed out that the Zoub tribe refused the Houthi presence and took the path of armed resistance from October 2014 until the last battle in December 2017, which ended with a humiliating agreement for the Houthis, according to which they were prevented from entering the village and concentrating in its vicinity.

It added that the Houthis broke the covenant between us and them after they managed to subjugate the rest of the areas of Qaiyfa and mobilized more than 20 tanks and armored vehicles today to attack a village, and this is evidence of the hatred of the militia leadership against Zoub and what it did to them over the past years.
