Sanaa, Newsyemen, Exclusive:

Educational sources in the capital, Sana'a, said that the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, has deliberately used the primary and secondary certification exams currently taking place in the capital, Sana'a and militia control areas, to cover up a major corruption operation related to UN aid provided to them in the context of confronting the spread of the Coronavirus.

The sources added: UNICEF provided assistance to the Houthi militia to confront the Corona epidemic, which included temperature testing devices, laboratory solutions to examine the virus, and protective equipment including (masks, gloves and protective suits) and that this aid was distributed to the Ministries of Health and Education, which are controlled by the Houthi militia.

According to the sources, more than 15 flights transported this aid and delivered it to the Houthi militia, which deliberately stole this aid and sold it in the market for large sums of money, which sparked a dispute with the UNICEF organization, which threatened to stop all forms of support and aid, noting that the Ministry of Education, which is under the control of the militias, informs UNICEF, in an attempt to cover up the operations of stealing aid, that it will use this aid in the precautionary measures during the exams for students of the primary and secondary certificates.

The sources pointed out that what the militias are doing is merely distributing masks to students only, while each school distributed a thermometer, which represents an attempt to circumvent and cover up the theft and looting that took place for thousands of tons of aid for confronting the Corona epidemic provided by UNICEF.
