Sanaa, Newsyemen:

Professor Saif Al-Asali, the former Minister of Finance, was surprised that the Houthi militia had created a black market for oil derivatives and monetary currency, in its areas of control, at a time when it claimed that it was an authority representing a state.

In a series of tweets on his Twitter account, Al-Asali described the Houthi authority as a gang.

He said that the militia created a black market for derivatives and no one objected, and is currently creating a black market in the currency, warning that if people do not object to that, it will create a black market for wheat and everything.

Al-Asali said, addressing the Yemenis: "If the Houthis do not understand, then deal in the Yemeni currency, regardless of whether it is new or old. In this case, the Houthi authority cannot confiscate the money of all people, nor to imprison them all, nor to punish them all, in this case they will accept the status quo and deprive them of the great profits they are making from being tightened on you. "

He added, in another tweet addressing the militia leader, Abdulmalik Al-Houthi: "Stop the farce of the Committee of Economic Ignorance before God annihilates you, because this game will not continue .. Demand to stop printing money, as you have old money that will run out and you are not able to provide it, and in this case the people will take revenge on you." So, do not be deceived by your tyranny, and it will not last.

Al-Asali added, if the Hadi government had mistakenly printed the money, this does not justify the Houthi authority to prevent this and multiply the bad effects of printing.
