The Houthi militia collects huge sums of money, as taxes and levies from commercial and investment companies, as well as from citizens and farmers, without providing any service to the citizen.
Economic reports say that in 2019 the Yemenis paid more than 20 times what they had paid in taxes and duties, in the period before the militia invaded the capital, Sanaa.
These numbers are limited only to the areas controlled by the Houthis, who came with the mentality of killing and looting and legalizing that, with the power of weapons.
And the Houthi militia established the so-called (Zakat Authority) and approved the Khums (one-fifth) document in addition to keeping taxes in everything.
"Newsyemen" channel publishes a motion graphic video, reviewing the looting and taxation crimes carried out by the Houthi militia against the Yemenis in their areas of influence, at a time when it does not provide any service to citizens.
