A report monitors 167 sniping crimes committed by Iran's arm in the Al Shaqab area in Taiz

 A human rights monitoring team in Taiz Governorate documented 167 sniping crimes committed by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, against civilians in the Al Shaqab region, east of the Sabr Al-Mawadim District.

Human rights activist and head of the Human Rights, Development and Monitoring Committee, Shihab Al-Shuqbi, said that the monitoring team of the committee has documented this number of sniping crimes in the Al Shaqab region for the past six years.

Al-Shuqbi explained that the direct sniping operations led to the death of 27 civilians, including three women and four children, while the number of wounded by direct snipers reached 140 victims, including 41 women and 34 children, some of whom were disabled, including quadriplegia.

The monitoring team in the region had monitored more than 7,000 violations committed by the Houthi militia against the people since the beginning of the war it launched on Taiz.
