Houthi supervisors forcibly marry underage girls, north of Al-Dhalea

Houthi terrorism is not confined to the bombing of innocent villages in the north of Al-Dhalea governorate, and the suppression and terror of the population in the areas under its control in Qataba, Al-Husha and Murais, so that it has recently introduced the marriage of underage girls under the pretext of what they called the same Hashemite affiliation.
Human rights sources told "Newsyemen" that the Houthi militia supervisors have coerced Hashemite families and married underage girls who have lived for decades in the villages of Al-Oud, Shaleel and Al-Arji, north of Qataba, in the worst terrorist crimes.
The sources indicated that last week witnessed 4 cases of marriage between the supervisors of the militia and underage girls, the last of which was the marriage of a Houthi leader to a girl who studies in the sixth grade of primary school.
The ages of the girls whom the Houthi militia supervisors forcibly married were between 9 and 13 years old.
According to the sources, the static Hashemite families, north of Qataba, married the militia supervisors from their underage girls in order to achieve many of the common gains and interests that these families share with the supervisors and militia members who search for their sexual whims.
The Houthi militia is trying to revive the role of the Hashemite families, which claim their right to rule, by weaving alliances with each family claiming to belong to the Hashemite north of Al Dhale'e, but this is at the expense of underage girls who are powerless and forced to marry under the force of the weapons of supervisors and the greed of their fathers.
The sources called on relevant and international organizations specialized in combating the phenomenon of underage marriage to monitor and stop the crimes of the Houthi militia, and to save girls and families whose lineage the militia supervisors exploit to satisfy their sexual desires and needs.
