Marib Authority holds a session, to try Houthi leaders

The Military Court in the Third District of Marib Governorate held, on Tuesday, the second session to consider the grave criminal case No. 4 for the current year filed by the Military Prosecution against the leader of the Houthi militia, Abdulmalik Al-Houthi and 174 others on charges of overthrowing constitutional legitimacy.

The court decided in its session headed by Judge Aqeel Taj al-Din to postpone it to enable civil and personal rights claimants to submit their claims according to the criminal case according to the law, and the Public Prosecution office called on them to inform them of this.

The court also decided to address the Bar Association branch in the Ma'rib governorate by assigning four lawyers to defend the accused and to enable them to view the case file.

The Military Prosecution requested that the defendants be tried in accordance with the trial rules for the defendant, a fugitive from justice, in accordance with the law, after their failure to attend despite the submission of three consecutive announcements in the September newspaper issued by the Ministry of Defense.

The court had heard a number of personal and civil lawsuits submitted by lawyers on behalf of the victims ... and decided to postpone the session to the 25th of next September.
