Military reinforcements from the 5th Brigade are on their way to Abyan

Military sources with the Fifth Brigade, Da'am and Isnad, reported that new military reinforcements would arrive in Abyan governorate from the forces of the Fifth Brigade, where they were equipped within a short period of time, armed with various types of weapons and heavy and medium vehicles.
These reinforcements came after the Southern Transitional Council announced that it would suspend its participation in the ongoing consultations to implement the Riyadh Agreement, and the other side did not abide by the ceasefire and its militias continued to build up militarily towards the south.
The leadership of the Fifth Brigade confirmed that these military reinforcements came in response to the directives of the Supreme Command, represented by President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi and Acting President Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, to strengthen the fronts and urgently raise their maximum combat readiness on the borders of Abyan specifically and on the various battle fronts to defend the south.
The Commander of the Fifth Brigade,
Da'am and Isnad Mukhtar al-Nubi, said that the Southern Armed Forces are in a high readiness to fight this fateful battle to defend the gains of the revolution and the aspirations of the people of the south and their choice for independence and the restoration of the southern state.
Today, a cautious calm fell on most of the fighting fronts of Abyan, after an exchange of artillery shelling between the southern forces and the Brotherhood militias, described as violent between the two parties.
