Taiz, Newsyemen, Exclusive:

Thursday morning, armed men in civilian clothes stormed the hall of the Taiz Tourist Club, before the start of the event of the 38th anniversary of the founding of the Popular Congress.

Eyewitnesses told "Newsyemen", that gunmen who follow the Taiz axis and raise banners in the name of the wounded attacked the hall minutes before the start of the ceremony, which was previously postponed under the pretext of threats against raising the image of the conference's founder and president, leader "Ali Abdullah Saleh."

Two day ago, he announced the directives of the Vice President of the Republic, Major General Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar, to the axis to protect the GPC ceremony and to ensure that the image of its founder, Ali Abdullah Saleh, was raised, which sparked a wave of protests that today turned into an attack on the celebration, despite the axis’s loyalty to Ali Mohsen.

Eyewitnesses said that those who entered the hall cut up pictures and paintings, insulted the audience, and attacked the sound technician after conference songs, and this led to the withdrawal of the attendees and the cancellation of the event minutes before its start.

Analysts believe that the attack on the party is an attempt to show the disagreement between the axis and Ali Mohsen, after storming Al-Hujaria and the attack on the homes of community leaders who fought Houthi and refused to submit to Major General Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar.
