Al-Dhalea, Newsyemen, Exclusive:

A number of Houthi militia members were killed, and others were injured, at dawn on Saturday, as a result of a failed infiltration operation towards the strategic camp in the Sabira sector - al-Jubb, west of Qataba district in the Al-Dhalea governorate.

Colonel Muhammad Ali Saeed, the moral guidance in the Seventh Brigade, said that the Houthi militia tried to carry out an infiltration operation at one and a half after midnight, and singled out a number of its deceived elements, and after monitoring this operation a tight ambush was set up and the infiltrating elements were dealt with abruptly.

He added that the confrontations were lightning and fast, and the southern forces were able to tighten control over the infiltrators, which led to the death and injury of a number of them, and the body of the commander of the operation is still with us, according to his description.

He added that the Houthi militia, after the failure of the infiltration and besieging its members, resorted to launching a hysterical attack with various calibers with the aim of withdrawing the bodies of their dead and wounded, and confrontations erupted that lasted until 2:30 near dawn.

These field developments come after a series of successful sniping operations carried out by the sniper unit of the Seventh Brigade, Sa'iqa, during the past days in the same sector, which targeted a large number of Houthi militia elements on the front lines with direct sniper operations.

The Houthi militias have been trying for days to carry out a number of attacks and infiltrations in a number of sectors northwest of the Dhalea axis, all of which failed to achieve any field gains except for incurring more losses in their ranks and equipment.
