Aden, Newsyemen:

A member of the Presidency in the Southern Transitional Council, Salem Thabet Al-Awlaqi, said that the southern regions would have been a copy of Taiz and Al-Bayda had it not been for the transitional council.

Al-Awlaqi said, in a tweet on his Twitter account, that the council blocked the path of Al-Qaeda and Al-Houthi infiltrations, indicating that the Brotherhood's areas are either controlled by the Houthi militia or where Al-Qaeda is growing.

Al-Awlaqi said: "Taiz and Al-Bayda do not have a transitional council for the Brotherhood to hold it responsible for their catastrophic failure and the executions carried out by al-Qaeda there."

And he added, "The south would have been a copy of Taiz and Al-Bayda had it not been for the presence of the Transitional Council, which blocked the path of al-Qaeda and Houthi infiltrations."

A member of the Presidency of the Transitional Council concluded: "Brotherhood areas either are taken by the Houthis or Al Qaeda grows in them."
