The local council in Al-Maafer denounces the Brotherhood’s attack on the Sanwi agent

Members of the local council, sheikhs and notables of the Al-Maafer Directorate condemned in the strongest terms the attack and assault on the deputy governor of Taiz Governorate for Al-Hujaria Affairs, Muhammad Abdulaziz Al-Sanwi, by the Popular Mobilization Militia and members of the military police loyal to the Brotherhood, and considered it a continuation of the violations and practices that affect the people of Maafer.
The statement issued by the council, on Sunday, considered that the attack on the agent is an assault on all the people of the Maafer and the Hujaria in general, as he is a social and political personality, which makes the attack on him a legal and moral crime that should not be tolerated , in addition to all the crimes and violations that affected the people and heroes of Maafer before this crime.
The statement warned of the consequences of persistent violations. "The people of Al-Maafer, as they resisted the Houthi militia from incursion into Hujaria with weapons, are able, by force of law, to seek justice for their heroes and every citizen whose rights and dignity are violated."
It also stressed the need to take real deterrent penalties against those who belong to the National Army and their actions, otherwise, we will have other positions that are more powerful than just a statement and in accordance with the law and the constitution under which we all remain.
