The coalition destroys a booby-trapped Houthi boat in the Red Sea

The Arab Coalition Forces intercepted a booby-trapped boat launched by the Houthi militia, off the coast of Hodeidah Governorate, western Yemen.

The Arab Coalition announced, in a statement, that the Houthi militia launched the booby-trapped boat from Hodeidah Governorate.

The coalition stressed the continuation of implementing measures against the militia to destroy its capabilities that threaten regional security.

This came hours after the coalition announced the destruction of a drone launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia towards Abha International Airport, stressing that this Houthi action was a terrorist and brutal act.

The coalition condemned the Houthis' attempt to threaten travelers at the airport, noting that the destruction of the drone led to shrapnel falling on the place without any damage or injuries.

The coalition announced that it would continue measures to deter the Houthi militia, stressing its intention to hold accountable those involved in the terrorist act in accordance with international law.

He added that the terrorist elements will be held accountable for planning and carrying out this terrorist act.
