Lamlas discusses issues related to the telecommunications sector

The Governor of Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, received, on Tuesday, at his office at the Governorate Court, the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Lutfi Bashrif.
In the meeting, a number of issues related to the communications sector and ways of joint cooperation and coordination between the local authority in Aden and the ministry were discussed in implementing expansion projects and solving problems that the ministry’s bodies face in the governorate.
He called on the Ministry to expand the Aden Net service and facilitate the procedures for citizens to obtain it, in addition to the necessity to accommodate young cadres of graduates from the sons of Aden in the field of communications and information technology in the various bodies of the ministry.
In the context of the governor’s work, Lamas met, on Tuesday, Mr. Fadi Al-Maushi, Deputy Director of the UN Envoy’s Office in Yemen.
He discussed a number of issues related to the efforts of the UN envoy, Martin Griffith, in establishing the peace process in the country, the role of the United Nations in supporting efforts aimed at accelerating the implementation of the provisions of the Riyadh Agreement and the efforts of the local authority in Aden to solve the service and development problems that the governor has adopted since he assumed the duties of the governorate leadership.
