Al-Hodeidah, NewsYemen:

On Saturday, the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, launched a fierce bombardment with heavy artillery shells of various calibers, on the coastal town of Al-Faza, which is affiliated to the Tuhaita District, south of Hodeidah.

This came in retaliation for the heavy losses it received on Friday evening, as the joint forces responded to a widespread attack by armed groups affiliated with the Houthis on the town, and the Houthi militia suffered heavy losses in lives and equipment.

Dozens of Houthi militants were killed or wounded, while those who survived fled, and the joint forces destroyed weapons and vehicles belonging to the militias in the clashes due to the bravery and courage of the heroes of the joint forces, while other units carried out sweeping operations to pursue the remnants of the fleeing militias in remote areas.

The sources reported that the militias fired dozens of artillery shells towards the area since the early morning hours of this day, using BMB vehicle shells and heavy mortar shells of 12 and 82 caliber, while they fired dozens of RBG shells at the homes and farms of citizens.

The militias rained a torrent of fire towards the roads leading to the town and the roads linking the homes and farms of citizens in an insane manner, causing losses in citizens' properties, according to the same sources.

The targeting and the violent bombing left a state of fear and terror among the population and farmers, and many citizens refrained from moving to their work on their farms for fear of being targeted by militias.
