The Murad tribe continues its battle today with the Houthis in the raging battle fronts in the southern governorate of Marib, thus setting a vivid example of the Republic in standing up to the imam’s war machine, and for this, it pledges hundreds of martyrs from its men as offerings to the Republic.
Murad's sons, sheikhs, and military leaders are aware of the fate awaiting the tribe if it has calmed down the new imams, and this realization is the source of its strength, as its men desperate on the fronts in defense of their protectors, despite of the disappointment they are subjected to by the army forces, so the Houthi did not succeed in penetrating it.
The matter did not stop when the legitimate forces stood idly by, rather it was proven that the road was cut off from any supplies reaching the front, as tribal sources revealed that the Special Security Forces loyal to the Brotherhood’s authority at the Falaj checkpoint obstructed the arrival of military support, which was directed by the Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Saghir bin Aziz, to the stationers south of Marib.
With the early hordes of the Houthi militia towards the districts of Mahliya and Rahba, the tribe, went out carrying their personal weapons and some medium weapons, and spread along the front extending from the outskirts of al-Abdiya to the outskirts of Qaifa before the military leaders of the tribe’s members joined it on the fronts.
Al-Mouradi says that every weapon carriers either on the battle fronts or on the way to them, because the battle will continue, and will not end until every inch of the aggressive Houthi militia has been cleared, while the army has abandoned its duties ... expressing its astonishment at the legitimate forces in Hadhramaut and Shabwa and not moving to protect Marib.
And he added, we sacrifice our men in order to repel the Houthi attacks, adding, "There is no family in Murad that does not sacrifice a son, husband, brother or father”
He pointed out that these sacrifices are a continuation of the sacrifices made by Murad over the past 5 years, the number of which has been thousands of martyrs and wounded in all the battlefields against the Houthi militia extending from Saada to Al-Bayda.
