The leader of one of the Houthi militia fronts was killed in violent confrontations with the army forces and tribesmen east of Al-Jawf, amid heavy losses incurred by Iran's arm in Yemen.

A field source said that the leader of the Houthi militia in the Al-Sabayegh front, the Houthi leader Tariq Hassan Al-Moawadi, known as "Abu Al-Masirah", was killed on Saturday, along with a number of his companions during the large military operation of the army and the tribes east of Bir Al-Marazeeq.

The source added that the Houthi militia suffered heavy losses in its ranks at the hands of the army and tribes and the raids of the Arab coalition, confirming that 18 people were killed, 7 wounded Houthi militia members, and 37 others were captured.

According to the source, among the Houthi leaders killed was the commander of the reconnaissance force, Colonel Muhammad Nasser Al-Sufi, who was killed during battles with the tribes and the army east of Bir Al-Marazeeq.

The Acting Commander of the Sixth Military Region, Major General Amin Al-Waeli, announced yesterday evening, Saturday, the clearance of the Al-Sabegh Mountains and a number of surrounding sites, and cut off the Houthi militia supply lines.

Al-Waeli confirmed, in a press statement, that the battles resulted in the killing and wounding of dozens of Houthi militia members and the destruction of 3 vehicles and 7 crews and combat vehicles in the raids of the coalition fighters, indicating that the victories on the Al-Jawf fronts will continue in the coming hours and days.
