A tribal source reported that the Houthi militia members were killed in the Quraishi district of Al-Bayda governorate, with a surprise attack by tribesmen hours after the killing of one of their sons by the militia's snipers.

The source told NewsYemen that, late on Sunday evening, tribal gunmen launched a surprise attack on two armed groups of the Houthi militia in the village of Al-Zawab in Quraishi.

According to the source, the attack resulted in the burning of a kit, killing all those on board, and seizing another carrying various ammunition.

He added that the attack was followed by violent confrontations between the tribes and the Houthis in the village of Al-Zawab, which was accompanied by heavy shelling with tank shells on homes and properties.

The source pointed out that this attack comes hours after the death of Issam Fahd Al-Zouba, 25, in front of his shop, with the bullets of the militia’s snipers targeting everyone from the village.

The region has witnessed severe tension since last Thursday, after the militia stormed the village with hundreds of armed men accompanied by vehicles and armored vehicles, and blew up the homes of the two brothers, Abd Rabbo and Saleh Ahmad Jarallah Al-Zouba, despite the conclusion of a non-aggression agreement between the two sides mediated by a number of sheikhs and dignitaries.

The militias have continued to bomb Al-Zoub houses since days, which led to the death of Ali Saleh Al-Qafili and his daughter, wounding 6 others, and destroying and damaging many homes.
