23 Houthi drones were shot down last August

During August 2020, tribal and army forces managed to shoot down and destroy 23 drones belonging to the Iranian-backed Houthi militia, on the battlefronts in the governorates of Sanaa, Saada, Al-Jawf and Al-Bayda.
According to the monitoring unit of the Media Center of the Armed Forces, the aircraft varied between the suicide march carrying explosives, and the reconnaissance that attempted to photograph the locations and positions of the army forces, and most of them were Iranian-made.
The number of Houthi drones that were shot down by the heroes on the battle fronts in the Nehm district, east of Sanaa, reached 11 explosive and reconnaissance drones, 5 explosive and reconnaissance drones at Qaniya fronts in Al-Bayda governorate, and 6 “explosive and reconnaissance” drones on the battlefronts in Al-Jawf governorate, while the heroes shot down a drone.
