The Transitional Council stresses the need to re-establish the state’s presence in Aden under the leadership of Lamlas

The Southern Transitional Council stressed the need to re-establish the state’s existence, and make use of the southern cadre, who must be prepared and ready to provide a helping hand to make the work of all those seeking the good of the capital Aden succeeding, led by Governor Ahmed Hamid Lamlas

This came during the regular meeting of the General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council, on Monday, headed by Professor Fadl Muhammad Al-Jaadi, Assistant Secretary-General.

Al-Jaadi stressed the need to feel the suffering experienced by the citizen in the current situation, calling on everyone to be a support for Governor Ahmed Hamed Lamas, to pull the capital out of the difficult reality in which it is living.

The meeting discussed land and public property problems, the high exchange rate of foreign currencies, the rise in commodity prices and remittance fees, as well as developments in the oil market and its derivatives, as well as humanitarian aid and the mechanism for directing it, in addition to poor public services, obstruction of salaries disbursement, stalled investment projects, and the deterioration of tourism.

The meeting also discussed the report submitted by the Financial and Administrative Affairs Department on the level of job discipline in the General Secretariat of the Presidency for the month of August 2020.

The attendees praised the great role that the Media Department plays as an official interface that performs the official media work of the Council as required, and the efforts it exerts in this aspect.
