Southern forces extinguished, on Friday evening and Saturday dawn, the sources of fire of the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, on the fronts west of the Qataba district, northwest of Al-Dhalea.
A field military source stated that the joint forces, backed by the southern resistance, targeted the Houthi militia sites by bombing a center and air force with heavy machine guns and artillery, and their sources of fire were extinguished, on the fronts north and west of the Al-Fakhir and Al-Nabija sectors.
The source pointed out that the Houthi militia tried to mobilize its elements to infiltrate "the door of the closure, the means of abandonment," but the prior monitoring of their movements made it easier for the southern forces to thwart them, crush their reinforcements, and inflict deaths and injuries on them and other material losses.
The source stated that the flames were seen rising from the Houthi sites in Nabija, where local residents reported hearing screams for help from the Houthi militia, confirming heavy casualties among its ranks.
