Sanaa, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

Today, Saturday, the army and tribesmen repelled a major attack by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, in the seventh region sector of the Najd al-Ataq front in the Nehm district, east of Sanaa.

Field military sources told "NewsYemen" that the Houthi militia attacked the army and tribal positions in the "Al-Qada and Jabal Al-Ramah" areas in Najd Al-Ataq with more than ten coordinates, during which the tribal and army forces managed to repel the attack.

According to the sources, the Houthi militia did not make any progress, while dozens of people were killed and wounded on both sides.

It explained that the militia’s attack on those sites was aimed at securing the Serwah front and its supply routes from any penetration.

The attack on the Najd Ataq front came in conjunction with the Houthi militia's advance on the last army strongholds in the Al-Khadkara desert and the tightening of control over sites belonging to the seventh region.

The militia was able to control the last positions of the Jadaan Resistance Forces in the last villages of Medghal, which enabled Iran's arm to enter the Ragwan District.

In the context, violent confrontations continue in the market of Camp Kaalan and in the vicinity of Dar Al-Qur'an, after the army managed to retake it during the past two days.

In a related development, the Ministry of Defense announced the killing of more than 35 Houthi elements, including four prominent field commanders, by army and tribal fire today, Saturday, in the Al-Jafra area and the Sulb mountain range in the Nehm district, east of Sanaa.

The army also recovered a BMB vehicle, in addition to destroying three crews of the Houthi militia at the Najd al-Ataq front.
