Sanaa, NewsYemen:

Informed sources said that responsible authorities, in cooperation with groups affiliated with the Houthi militia in the Capital Secretariat, had infringed on lands owned by citizens.

The sources explained that the participants in the housing association for the Presidency of the Republic in the "Najd Al Fawares" region in the secretariat complained of being attacked and threatened whenever they tried to build on their lands.

The victims accused the officials of the "Ghamadan" brigade, as well as the head of the Armed Forces Land Survey and Documentation Committee, that they arrest anyone trying to build on land owned for twenty years and are taken directly to the "military prison."

It is worth noting that the participants in the housing association have official licenses and orders from the current head of the political council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, affiliated with the Houthi militia, and other orders from Saleh Al-Sammad.

According to those affected, these orders are never implemented, and today they cannot build on their homes and cannot repair their homes that were damaged with the rain.

Those concerned were surprised by the failure to implement the directives issued by the competent authorities and the presidency, wondering who is ruling Sanaa at the present time and why all these harassment.

The Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, is actively seeking to change the demographic and geographical map of the capital, Sanaa, and its surroundings.

This comes through the direct seizure of land and the purchase of large areas, the aim of which is to control and launder millions of riyals that are being plundered from the revenues and salaries of employees, not to mention the plunder of aid and the insane spread of the black market.
