Ibb - Security forces assault a child and a lawyer who survived an assassination attempt

Media sources reported that the child Akram Dabwan, 11 years old, from Al-Aden District, Al-Sara district, was subjected to violence and an attempted kidnapping by soldiers affiliated with the Al-Odain Security Administration.
The sources indicated that the victim was working in one of the small grocery stores in the district center, before a group of soldiers belonging to the Houthi militia came and started beating him and closing the shop.
Akram appeared in one of the videos, explaining the story, and his clothes were torn, which met with widespread condemnation and a demand for accountability for the perpetrators.
On the other hand, media sources reported that lawyer Abdulmalik al-Ansi survived an assassination attempt in the city of Ibb.
The sources confirmed that an armed gang had fired extensively at the lawyer’s car, which was parked in front of the Mecca markets in Taiz Street, before they fled.
Reports indicate an increase in the daily crime rate and assaults in the governorate, as well as in district centers and militia points.
There are also frightening statistics reported by the media and the social network during the current year 2020 until the end of last August.
