One of Murad Sheikhs was killed and another wounded by Houthi fire south of Marib

One of the sheikhs of the Murad tribe, along with a number of members of the tribe, were martyred, and others were injured in the past hours, during clashes with the Houthi militia in the vicinity of Al-Rahba district, south of Marib Governorate.

A tribal source said that Sheikh / Muhammad Ali Muhammad al-Amiri, the sheikh of the Al Amer tribe, was martyred along with 3 others from the Murad tribe, Jamal Ahmad Al-Rashdi, Abdul Jalil Abdullah Ali Tareeq, and Zabn Allah Saleh Al-Basis, while repelling an attack by the Houthi militia in the Rahoum front between the two districts of Al Rahba And Mount Murad.

Source added that the clashes that lasted for hours also resulted in the injury of a number of tribe members, headed by Sheikh Mansour Ali Nasser Tareeq, Sheikh of the Al Kathir tribe, indicating that he was seriously injured in the head.

On the other hand, dozens of militia members were killed or wounded, after they launched successive attacks towards the Jabal Murad district, which the tribesmen managed to repel, and launched a counter-attack that ended with controlling a number of sites.
