One person died and 8 others were injured due to a fire in an ice factory in Al Mahrah

One person died and eight others were injured as a result of a fire that broke out in an ice factory in Muhaifif area, Al-Ghaydah, Al-Mahra governorate.
A local source told NewsYemen that the explosion was caused by a fire in a fuel depot that occurred in an ice factory on the shore of Muhaif, south of the capital, while the firefighters managed to control the fire before it spread and reached the gas store adjacent to the fuel depot.
According to the source, one of the factory workers was found charred in the factory, while the others were hospitalized in Al Ghaydah and Mukalla, and three serious cases were transferred to the Sultanate of Oman.
