Sanaa, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

One day before the date of September 26 this year, which is the occasion of the immortal feast of the 58th of the September 26, 1962 CE revolution, the Houthi militia raced against time to breathe the soul into the body of Imam Al-Hadi, who came from the Al-Rass region in the Arabian Peninsula, and is considered the grandfather of the Rassian dynasty (they ruled parts of Yemen in intermittent periods until 1962.

Friday preachers loyal to the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - today reviewed in a number of Sana'a mosques what they described as the virtues of Imam Al-Hadi and his biography, and the Houthi preachers claimed that Imam Al-Hadi was one of the figures they described as great and who made history, and that he sacrificed and fought for the establishment of the Islamic state.

The talk of Houthi preachers sparked the anger of dozens of worshipers who left mosques to search for sermons in other mosques and sermons free from sectarian and racial intolerance, and concerned with people's livelihood issues and the events of the hour.

Al-Houthi preachers claimed that Imam Al-Hadi "had a great impact in bringing about changes that contributed to establishing and consolidating the principles and values of truth, justice and jihad and establishing a state with a system and law in accordance with God's law."

In conversations with (NewsYemen), worshipers denounced the use of the Ministry of Endowments and Guidance in Sana'a for mosques politically, and the use of the sermon platform to raise controversial issues from ancient times, reinforce societal division, and perpetuate the separation of Sana'a from Yemen.

Pointing out that the time is not appropriate to talk about Imam al-Hadi in the month of September, the revolution and the republic that overthrew the imamate system and brought the people out of the darkness of the imamist priesthood into the space of freedom, the sun of the republic and the democratic system.

Saleh Al-Nahmi, a resident of Sanaa, said that the speech of the Friday sermon today in Sanaa is a deliberate provocation of worshipers and the residents of Sanaa, and a public betrayal of the principles and goals of the revolution and the republic, expecting an increase in the boycott of Friday sermons in Sanaa by the masses.

Ali Sinan - a resident of Sanaa - considered the promotion of Houthi sermons to the imams and companions and the Houthi speech's attachment to these historical figures, is an expression of the group’s bankruptcy in presenting any future national project for the areas under its control, also indicating that the group’s insistence on remaining in constant contact with religion and events the past, clearly reveals the group's intentions, revenge motives, and its claims about the right to rule contrary to the will of the Yemenis.

In a related context, new Houthi entities organized, on September 24 this year, a symposium in Sana'a on the Imam al-Hadi entitled "His Just State and His Cultural Legacy," and the outcomes of the symposium included falsification of history and misleading of public opinion.

While considering an exciting historical fallacy, the officially announced outcomes of the symposium claimed that "the biography of Imam al-Hadi sought with every effort to bring about a change in the reality of the nation, which resulted in its recovery from the quagmire of ignorance, deviation, weakness, dishonor, disruption and disintegration."
