Three civilians were killed and wounded ... Brotherhood militia targets travelers on the "Shuqra" road

A soldier and a civilian were killed, and others were injured, as a result of artillery shelling by the Brotherhood militia, towards southern areas of the forces in the coastal town of Shuqra in Abyan Governorate, southern Yemen.

Eyewitnesses told "Newsyemen", that the Brotherhood's militia fired a number of mortar shells at the southern forces' positions in Al-Tiriya, noting that one of the shells landed in the asphalt road in Shuqra, killing a citizen of Hodeidah who was traveling, called Shawqi Ahmed Kadr.

They added that the explosion resulted in the injury of another citizen from Taiz Governorate, called Abdullah Qasim Ahmed Al-Hajj, and another from Ibb Governorate, named Abdul Qawi Ahmed Qasim.

The sources described the Brotherhood’s militia targeting travelers on the Shuqra line as an indication of a dangerous escalation.
