Taiz .. Continued smuggling of oil products to the Houthis under the protection of the Brotherhood’s authority

The turnover of two trucks revealed the expansion of the smuggling of oil derivatives, with the protection of the Hashd Brotherhood militia from the liberated areas to the areas controlled by the Houthi militia, and the south and west of Taiz Governorate, central Yemen.
Local sources said that an oil tanker capsized and another had been stuck for hours in the transfer of Al-Asrhouh in Jabal Habashi district, west of Taiz governorate.
The sources pointed out that the smuggling of petroleum products and fertilizers that are used in the manufacture of explosives and other contraband continues from the liberated areas to the areas controlled by the Houthi militia.
According to the sources, the Brotherhood's Hashd militia protects and facilitates the smuggling of derivatives, fertilizers and others in exchange for daily and monthly funds with the knowledge and expertise of the local and security authority leaders in the district and the governorate.
The people of Wadi Bani Khawlan a few days ago sent a message to the local and security authority in Jabal Habashi, expressing their annoyance at the continued smuggling and the accompanying battles and shootings between the protectors of the smugglers.
