Dozens of citizens carried out a new protest today, to demand the arrest of the killers of a citizen after they took control of his house and the homes of his brothers in the city of Taiz, central Yemen.

The participants in the protest demanded the leadership of the local and security authority to arrest the killers of the citizen Muhammad Ali Mahdi Qaasha, and to hand over their looted homes by the 17th Infantry Brigade.

The participants in the sit-in expressed their condemnation of the security authorities ’continued failure to carry out their duties towards the case, and denounced the cover-up of the patrol police command over the murderous soldiers.

The Military Police Commander had informed activists that the Patrol Police Command and the 17th Infantry Brigade refused to hand over the killers and the looted homes of citizen Muhammad Ali Mahdi and his brothers in Al-Nour city, west of Taiz.

It is noteworthy that the citizen Muhammad Ali Mahdi was shot dead by soldiers from the patrol police, with the help of soldiers from the 17th Infantry Brigade, at the end of last August, near his looted house, west of Taiz.
