On Tuesday, the Field Medical Corporation launched the fourth free surgical medical camp; For orthopedic deformities surgery for children under the age of sixteen, funded by the Sela Foundation for Development, where patients are treated and surgeries are performed for free.
It aims to examine a thousand cases suffering from bone deformities, and to perform surgical interventions by the Association of Southern Surgeons with 33 operations for the most needy and poor cases, and to help them to become healthy and productive people in society.
The Executive Director of the Field Medical Corporation, Dr. Maha Abadi, said that the importance of this camp stems from the fact that it carries out free surgeries for children suffering from bone deformities, noting that the Foundation had previously implemented three previous camps that met with remarkable success, which prompted it to implement the fourth camp.
It is noteworthy that this free surgical camp is implemented under the supervision of the Yemeni Ministry of Public Health and Population, and its surgeries are carried out by elite doctors of the Southern Surgeons Association.
