Aden, NewsYemen:

Fahd Kfayn, Minister of Fisheries in the legitimate government, said that more than 40 Iranian fishing vessels entered Yemeni waters around the Socotra archipelago.

Kfayn added, in tweets on his Twitter account, that these ships were carrying out illegal fishing in a flagrant attack on Yemeni sovereignty.

He pointed out that these repeated attacks are practiced by Iran in Yemeni waters, and through them, it carries out its acts of sabotage in Yemen.

Kfayn stressed that the international community must stand firm against the sabotage role played by Iran in Yemen.

And he considered that the silence of the international community in the face of the flagrant Iranian violations of Yemeni sovereignty, is a derogation and a violation of the principles of the United Nations, international legitimacy and the sovereignty and security of states.

And he added, "We look forward to more coordination between the Yemeni government and the Arab coalition in repelling Iranian violations, and protecting Yemeni marine waters and marine resources from tampering with them, which is represented by illegal fishing."
