On Friday, 8 military crews of the 17th Infantry Brigade stormed the villages of Al-Ashruh and raided Jabal Habashi, against the backdrop of the area's refusal to cross smuggled fuel to the Houthi militia through their areas.

Residents and local sources said that the Islah leader Saeed Abdul-Qaher, along with a military campaign, stormed Madhafa village after the village residents prevented diesel smuggling cars from passing through their areas to the Houthi militia in Al-Barah.

Residents added that the Commander of Smuggling Protection, the Military Commander in the 17th Brigade, Fahd al-Salhi and Saeed Abdul-Qaher, and with them their partner in sharing millions of riyals from the collection of smuggling from the transfer point, Omar Ali Sultan, attacked the villages of a targeted area with 8 vehicles and 3 rates of 14.5 on the villages of a targeted area, and they were stationed in the Manaqal School and Tasheeh School and direct their rates on the village, while the Houthi sites are not more than 2 km away from them.

Activist Ramez Al-Sharhi said, on his Facebook page, that a military team led by Saeed Abdul-Qaher, a leader in Islah, surrounded his house in the village of Al-Ashruh, Jabal Habashi, due to their refusal to smuggle oil derivatives and destroy roads.

Al-Sharhi said: After a decision by the Security Committee to prevent smuggling of oil derivatives, five military personnel storm the village and accompany the smuggling cars.

The Taiz Security Committee had approved the presence of Major General Khaled Fadel, Commander of the Taiz Axis, and the First Undersecretary of the Governorate, Dr. Abdul Qawi Al-Mikhlafi, and the Director of Security, Brigadier General Mansour Al-Akhali, and the leaders of the military and security priority, approved the implementation of the security plan regarding the security deployment and the identification of points.
