Aden, NewsYemen:

The fuel crisis that the city witnessed during the past days has eased, following the closure of the oil port of the Aden Refineries Company, in the context of the field escalation of the southern military, after meetings conducted by the governor of Aden, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, with the field leadership of the southern military sit-in.

The field command of the Supreme Military Authority and the sit-in announced, in a statement, the partial opening of the commercial activity of oil derivatives, by allowing the exit of the 71 locomotives that had been parked a week ago at the oil port facility, noting that this decision came to alleviate the crisis in Aden and in appreciation of the efforts of the governor of Aden and the understandings reached during their meeting with him on Friday.

The authority’s field leadership called on station owners to restrict pricing and stop all forms of the black market that have been active in taking advantage of the emergency, stressing that it has a scheduled operational plan after the partial opening process to ensure the continued provision of oil derivatives in a permanent way.
