Aden, NewsYemen:

Major General Ahmed bin Brik, head of the National Assembly, said that an agreement was reached between the Transitional Council and the Arab Coalition in Support of Legitimacy to "schedule the late salaries of military retirees at the rate of two months' salary every month."

This came in the meeting that gathered retirees protesting in front of the gate of the Arab Coalition in the city of the people in Aden, with the leadership of the Transitional Council represented by the Secretary-General of the Council, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, the governor of the capital, Aden, and Ahmed bin Brik, head of the National Assembly.

Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, for his part, told the retirees: “This segment has spared all its life in serving the southern homeland, and we cannot forget them, and we are on their side,” stressing his endeavor to serve them and to obtain their legitimate rights in full.”

The transitional assured the protesters that the agreement with the coalition came after contact with the government and the presidency on the need to implement the legitimate demands of the military sit-in.
