The joint forces stopped a boat in Dhu Bab carrying 130 Africans from Djibouti

On Sunday, the joint forces in the West Coast stopped a boat of an African smuggler carrying 130 Africans in the Dhu Bab district coming from Djibouti illegally via the Red Sea.

The head of operations of the Bab al-Mandab Brigade, Colonel Adel al-Muhawali, stated that after the arrival of a report about the smuggling of Africans, the brigade command deployed a maritime patrol from the company stationed in Mayon, a patrol from the Third Battalion in the Al-Oradi sector, a third from the Second Battalion in Bab al-Mandab and another in the Barriya.

He confirmed the suspension of the boat and the arrest of its crew, as well as the 130 African migrants who were coming from the country of Djibouti before their escape attempt in the Al-Hurriqia region in the Dhu Bab district, and it kept them and took legal measures.

During the past months, the joint forces arrested dozens of Africans who were trying to enter the country illegally.
